Once you’ve starred in a movie that’s nominated for an Oscar, it’s safe to say you’re famous, right? Saoirse Ronan, 24, still doesn’t feel famous though.

She graces the cover of Vogue for its August issue, and inside, the Lady Bird star discusses the perils and pleasures of working in the movie industry since the age of 9.

"I still get completely shocked that anyone knows who I am," she told Vogue after a fan asked to take a photo with her in her native Ireland. When asked if she'd rather she blended into the crowd more, she said, "Yeah, I would. But I'm not...famous. I just genuinely don't think I am. Selena Gomez is famous."

Ronan continued, saying she avoided reading about herself. "If you're not aware of how often you're in a newspaper, then it's like it's not really happening. I just get so anxious whenever I watch anything that I'm in. I'm fine with the way I look now. But I wouldn't necessarily be looking at photographs of myself all day. I don't want to become too consumed by the image of myself."

Robin Wright has granted her first interview that touches on the sexual misconduct allegations leveled against her former co-star Kevin Spacey to Today’s Savannah Guthrie on NBC.

Wright is promoting House of Cards as its sixth and final season is set to premiere on Netflix. The giant streaming service gave Spacey the boot after multiple men accused Spacey of misconduct, including some members of the crew on House of Cards.

In the interview, Wright distances herself from Spacey, claiming they were merely co-workers, never friends or intimates.

"We were co-workers, really," she said. "We never socialized outside of work."

Despite allegations of misconduct on the set of HOC and previous reports that Spacey’s behavior was common knowledge, she said the cast and crew "were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened."

She said she has not spoken to him since his disappearance from Hollywood. (He is reportedly seeking treatment).

"Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut and in between setups where we would giggle," she said. "I didn't know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is."

After her success in getting low-level drug offender Alice Marie Johnson released from her life sentence last month, Kim Kardashian promised she would continue her push to free other inmates.

TMZ reports that Kardashian met with prisoners at the California Institution for Women in Corona Friday afternoon after touring the grounds and living quarters.

Sources tell the gossip site that she is working on a program for women to help them adjust to life after prison.

Meanwhile, in an essay for Wealthsimple, Kardashian talks about how she’s made, saved and spent money.

Kardashian claims her parents never gave her a cent: "They never gave me money for rent or anything. Nothing. I always was working. I never asked people for money. That was never really my thing. I always just figured it out. The way that my parents taught me was, hey, when you’re 18, you’ve seen this lifestyle, I’m sure you’re going to want to upkeep it. If you’re going to want to live this way you’re going to have to get a job."

She admits that her notorious momager Kris Jenner definitely helped her build her empire: "My mom’s really smart, so I love to call her for advice all the time. I think it would be such a great book for her to write — a money book. Anytime I have a question, she'll say ‘Yes, that’s a good investment. No, don’t do that. Trust me, that’s stupid. Don’t do that.’ If I wanted to buy a car or a piece of jewelry or something, back in the day she would just be like, ‘No, it’s not worth it.’ She always tells me to buy real estate."

She and husband Kanye West hope to pass along the same money savvy to their three children by not giving them too much: "I worry about giving my kids too much. We don’t do gifts. They have to really earn it. But we talk about it all the time, about not getting too much and just trying to be as grounded and well rounded as possible."

VANESSA KIRBY OPENS UP ABOUT TOM CRUISE ROMANCE RUMORS: In the spring of 2017, Vanessa Kirby was romantically linked to Tom Cruise, with whom she was starring Mission: Impossible—Fallout. Meanwhile, Kirby was dating Callum Turner, and had been for two years. But when a tabloid caught them kissing—on set, for the film—the rumor mill went into overdrive. "Even though the crew were there, it was all in the tabloids like, 'The next wife falls at his feet,'" Kirby recalls in the August issue of Marie Claire U.K. (on sale now). "The most disconcerting thing was the people I didn't think would believe it did, and they were texting my boyfriend, asking, 'Are you OK?' Evangeline Lilly knew she was taking on more than just a role when she agreed to play The Wasp in Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp. Her character is the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after all, to get equal billing with a man.

She recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss how she chose to portray a character that she knew would have an impact on girls and women, and their perception of themselves.

"I wanted her to have a signature style that little girls, like I was when I was a feminine, girly little girl, would be able to fall in love with," the actress says.

Lilly says she went a step further on-set, and fought to empower herself and her character Hope van Dyne, who easily could have come off as "school marm-ish."

Lilly explains: "I think there is an unconscious message for little girls and women that when you challenge men in the midst of doing something juvenile or fun, then you're a heavy, a killjoy, a ball and chain. And all my life I grew up thinking, ‘I swear I won't be that way, I'll be cool, I'll be fun, I'm going to be the chick that can hang with the guys.’ And I really challenged myself on this film to shut out all of those critical voices, and the male pressures to conform and to really stand up and be a female voice in this world."

She continues: "I think you often see female characters — especially in the superhero world — being super-serious characters, and the boys get to have all the fun. And I really felt heard, and I feel like when you see the movie, you're going to see that. And I think it's really fresh and really fun to see a woman who knows how to take a joke and roll with things, but also can get the job done."

Three’s Company alum Suzanne Somers is defending accused sexual harasser Morgan Freeman, calling him a "big flirt" and saying she hopes the #MeToo Movement doesn’t end the art of seduction.

Speaking to Fox News host Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle Tuesday, she addressed how she hopes the #MeToo Movement changes Hollywood—but not too much.

"Well, this probably won’t be real popular, but I think that women...I totally understand the Weinstein and Bill Cosby, that’s like, of course. But you know, like Morgan Freeman's a big flirt. I know him really well. He sees you and he’ll like your dress and he’ll like your hair, and he’ll like a lot of things."

She continued: "I hope the dance doesn’t stop. It’s seduction. It’s flirting. All those things are really fun. So I hope there’s a way we can find a nice medium with that."

In May, eight women accused Morgan of misconduct in a CNN report that outlined his alleged behavior. He denied the allegations.

Fans cannot let go of their hope that one day soon, Oprah Winfrey will announce she is running for president.

Speculation went into overdrive after she gave a stirring speech predicting "a new day is on the horizon" while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globe Awards in January.

But the lifestyle maven yet again rained on their parade, telling British Vogue that it will never happen.

"In that political structure -- all the non-truths, the bullsh*t, the crap, the nastiness, the backhanded backroom stuff that goes on -- I feel like I could not exist," Winfrey told British Vogue in a cover interview for the magazine’s August issue. "I would not be able to do it. It's not a clean business. It would kill me."

Winfrey also took the opportunity to share her hopes for a brighter future ahead, thanks to the #MeToo Movement.

"People talk about 'these are such dark times', but what if we shift the paradigm? Because I see it differently," she told British Vogue. "I see, 'Isn't this remarkable that we're waking up?' For years, women have endured craziness. This is what's happening to people. They're allowing themselves to not just become corroded, but to become hysterical. You've got to lean to the happiness."

Winfrey also discussed her flash of insecurity before attending Meghan Markle’s May 19thnuptials to Prince Harry.

She realized the Stella McCartney dress she’d ordered looked white in pictures. (It was cream). "I Googled, ‘Can you wear white to a wedding? Answer: ‘No, don’t risk it,'" the 64-year-old media mogul told the magazine. McCartney then worked "round the clock" to remake the dress so it would be the more socially acceptable pink.

The full interview will appear in British Vogue’s print edition, which hits stands July 6th.

Her message was not well-received. One person responded, "I can see where you were going but somewhere along the way you took a wrong turn. Delete this sis." Others instructed her to "get woke," or mocked her "white liberal guilt."

She then fired off another tweet, writing, "Checkpoints on your home streets.... Is this the 'great' America we’re aiming for? Raids, fences and police-state like checkpoints don’t feel like the ‘land of the free’ our immigrant ancestors built."
