Wendy Williams is getting real about her struggles with drugs. The Wendy Williams Show host revealed on Tuesday that she is living in a sober house to help understand the struggle that fellow recovering addicts grapple with.

Williams explained: "And even today, and beyond, I have been living in a sober house. When you see me come to work, glammed up, right after the show I go across the street/ I do my pilates. I told you, two hours a day... to take care of my body. And you know I've had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don't know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped."

Williams told her audience that she realize that others aren’t as lucky and she wanted them "to know more of the story" because she knows that there are others that "have been struggling."

She said she reports to the house after work, meetings and hitting the gym.

"After I go to the Pilates and go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area, I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help," she continued. "They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle. It’s been really interesting, this ride."

Before she opened up on the show, Williams revealed that no one else knew what was going on besides her husband Kevin Hunter.

"Only Kevin knows about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here," she shared. "After I finish my appointments … I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family. … We talk and read and talk and read and then I get bored with them. Doors locked by 10 p.m., lights out by 10 p.m., so I go to my room and stare at the ceiling and fall asleep to come here and see you. So that is my truth."

The revelation comes after she returned to the show after a two-month break that she previously said was due to Graves disease.

She concluded, encouraging fellow addicts to call the organization that she and her husband founded to help fellow addicts. The Hunter Foundation 24-hour — 888-5HU-NTER – is available if they need assistance, she said, revealing that they've already helped to place 56 people in recovery centers.

Days after slamming the ‘bloids over reports that she attempted suicide, Paris Jackson is lashing out at the paparazzi who she says make her life hell.

"*Parks at gas station waiting for my boyfriend to pump gas* *closes eyes to listen to favorite song* paps take pic and zoom in so you can’t see that i’m parked and accuse me of falling asleep at the wheel," Jackson tweeted.

She continued: "When will this stop? This past week it’s been nonstop bulls—t. I'm so sick of it."

On Monday night, Paris also appeared at Netflix’s The Dirt premiere with her boyfriend, the musician Gabrel Glenn. She looked stylish and relaxed.

All of the attention—and the rumored suicide attempt, and subsequent reports that loved ones are trying to get her into therapy—comes on the heels of HBO’s searing documentary about her late father Michael Jackson. In it, two men say Jackson abused them when they were children.

Several family members have come out objecting to the film and Paris is among them, but she has also said that it simply isn’t her "role" to defend his legacy anymore.

John Oliver makes his living, at least in part, by poking fun at other people. So when he tackled the subject of public shaming with Monica Lewinsky on Sunday’s Last Week Tonight, it would have been tough to predict how the story—and the response to the story—would go.

In the segment, he essentially publicly shamed himself and fellow late night host Jay Leno for going after Lewinsky, who was publicly lacerated after her affair with then-President Bill Clinton became pregnant.

He slammed Leno’s recent Today show appearance, in which he expressed concern over the nature of late night shows in the age of President Trump.

"Everything now is, if people don’t like your politics…everyone has to know your politics," Leno said. "But when people see you are one-sided, it just makes it tough. I’d just like to see a bit of civility come back to it, you know?"

Oliver questioned Leno’s "civility," by pointing to old clips of Leno saying the humid stickiness in L.A. was "stickier than Monica Lewinsky."

Then he showed Leno reading from a fake Dr. Seuss inspired book about the scandal titled "The Slut in the Hat."

Oliver summarized, "And, if that’s what Leno means by civility, may I offer my new book: ‘Oh the Places You Can Go F--- Yourself, Jay Leno!'"

"Look, my hands are not clean here, either," he said. "I wasn’t in the U.S. at the time, but ten years after the fact, I was in a Daily Show piece marking the tenth anniversary of the scandal above a graphic reading, ‘10 Sucking Years,’ which is gross. It’s gross."

Lewinsky appeared herself and shared her own perspective as an anti-bullying advocate.

Lewinsky said: "I do think there’s a spectrum of behavior on which we can sort of judge, as a society, ‘Is this where shaming is effective to change social behavior, or is it damaging?’" (0:14 … OC: "is it damaging?")

Her own experience, she continued, "was a sh--storm. It was an avalanche of pain and humiliation, and, obviously, I could not have gotten through it without my family, and, eventually, when I was allowed to talk to my friends, my friends, too . . . At 24 years old, it was really hard to hold on to a shred of dignity or self-esteem when I was just the butt of so many jokes and being misunderstood."

"One of the things that happens with these kinds of experiences is that you start to disappear, you start to feel like you don’t matter. And I think that when somebody sees you and just acknowledges your humanity in the smallest way, it really can make a world of a difference," she told Oliver. And you don’t know — it could help save someone’s life."

On Twitter Monday, Lewinsky thanked Oliver for his message and for giving her a platform. She tweeted: "v grateful for the words of support on here re @LastWeekTonight. hope these kinds of conversations help anyone suffering know you’re not alone + you can survive it. it will get better."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is celebrated the world over for his strength. So it’s not a shock that the 1stArmored Division at Fort Bliss decided to name a tank after him.

They announced the move in a tweet: "'If you smell what America's Tank Division is cooking!' Shoutout to the #IronSoldiers assigned to the @Blackhawk_SQDN for naming one of their tanks in homage to the @TheRock. On Friday, he gave them a shout-out on Instagram, writing: "I’m sending a salute of respect & gratitude to the Blackhawk Squadron 1st Armored Division for the honor of naming their tank (the most advanced in the world) Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Heavy duty, bad a--, sexy AF and built to take care of business 😉 — but most importantly, thank you all for your service. Grateful to the bone."

As of Monday, the image received 2 million+ likes and thousands of comments. Much support, but also some serious criticism from fans.

"Well I really like you as a person and everything but what is a tank meant for? If it is to take the lives of human beings and others then it is not admirable... I hope it won’t be used... May God bless you all ❤️ Peace and Love," one Instagram user replied.

"That’s not something to be very proud of because it’ll be your name on that tank that’ll kill innocent people," another claimed.

Comedian Amy Schumer is getting personal in her new Netflix special, Amy Schumer: Growing, according to multiple reports. The 37-year-old talks pregnancy and marriage, and in the process, reveals that her husband Chris Fischer is on the spectrum.

She tells the Chicago crowd in the special: "I knew from the beginning that my husband's brain was a little different than mine. I have to start this over because I really want to get this right because I love him very much."

"My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger's. He has autism spectrum disorder. He's on the spectrum. And there were some signs early on," Schumer says, before telling a story of how her husband reacted abnormally to her falling down during a walk together. "Nine out of 10 people would go, 'Oh my god, are you OK?!' Maybe more like 10 out of 10 people...Instead, my husband went-- He kind of froze and became a lighthouse, opening and closing his mouth."

"I remember lying on the ground looking up at him and I wasn't mad, I just thought, Huh," she recalls. "Lotta Huh moments, you know?"

"Once he was diagnosed, it dawned on me how funny it was, because all of the characteristics that make it clear that he's on the spectrum are all of the reasons that I fell madly in love with him," she says in her Netflix special. "That's the truth. He says whatever is on his mind. He keeps it so real. He doesn't care about social norms or what you expect him to say or do."

"If I say to him, like, 'Does this look like sh*t?' He'll go, 'Yeah, you have a lot of other clothes. Why don't you wear those?'… But he can also make me feel more beautiful than anyone ever has in my whole life. And he can't lie!" she adds. "Is that the dream man?!"

Amy Schumer: Growing drops today (Tuesday) on Netflix.

Whoopi Goldberg shocked audience members and her fellow co-hosts when she made a surprise return to The View on Thursday. The appearance was her first after a near-death experience battling double pneumonia and sepsis more than a month ago.

After the audience’s excited cries of "Whoopi!" died down, the 63-year old said: "This is my first foray out. I’m not there yet, I’m not better…but over the next week and a half I will be here more often."

She told her co-hosts: "I wanted the first foray to be to come see y'all because I really kinda missed y'all."

Goldberg also said that Joy Behar’s crack that she was on maternity leave really resonated. "I think some people said to me, 'So, um, how did you get pregnant?' And I couldn't figure out what they were talking about, and then I remembered that Joy had said, 'She's on maternity leave.'"

She also got serious though: "You think you can push through because you got a little cold, you say, 'I'm just gonna keep going, keep going.' And you think because you've healed quickly before that something crazy can't happen. Well, it can. I had double pneumonia and sepsis... and so they had to pump a lot of stuff out of me. This is a cautionary tale for all of us. You must really take care of yourself because there is little tiny stuff out there that will kill you that you never think of."

Empire returned to the air on Fox Wednesday night for its Season 5 midseason premiere, the first time the show has aired a newbie since its star Jussie Smollett told police in Chicago that he was assaulted on January 29th.

A few weeks later, he was arrested and charged with filing a false police reports; police say the black, openly gay actor considered with two black brothers to stage a racist and homophobic hate crime against him. He denies all allegations of wrongdoing.

The last new episode aired December 5. Here’s The Wrap’s summary of the last show: it ended with Jeff Kingsley (A.Z. Kelsey) telling Cookie (Taraji P. Henson), Andre (Trai Byers), Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) and Jamal (Smollett) that he is Lucious’ (Terrence Howard) son,and a flash-forward showing Andre flatlining in front of his parents, giving fans more fuel for their theories about who is in the casket.

Smollett is set to appear in court today (Thursday). Many are watching to see how the popular show performs in ratings, especially as Smollett’s character has been written out of the season’s final episodes.

Regarding that decision, executive producer Brett Mahoney told EW: "It was a very difficult decision, but I think in terms of allowing the cast and the crew to really get the work done without a great deal of disruption in terms of the day-to-day and the stress of the day-to-day, and, in addition, allowing Jussie the time to really deal with what he's been confronted with and allow him the time to focus and prepare his case, this seems like the logical decision to make."

Catholic officials are not laughing over Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson’s "disgraceful and offensive" remarks likening fans of R. Kelly to fans of the Catholic Church on "Weekend Update."

Noting first that Kelly "is a monster who should go to jail forever," he asked: "But if you support the Catholic Church, isn’t that like the same thing as being an R. Kelly fan? I don’t really see the difference, except like one’s music is significantly better." ( 0:14 OC: … "significantly better.")

In a statement, the Diocese of Brooklyn said: "The faithful of our Church are disgusted by the harassment by those in news and entertainment, and this sketch offends millions. The mockery of this difficult time in the Church’s history serves no purpose. The clergy sex abuse crisis is shameful, and no one should ever get a laugh at the expense of the victims who have suffered irreparably."

But on Twitter, both self-described Catholics and SNL fans weren’t having it.

One critic wrote: "Being Catholic let me say 1) it's a joke 2) reap what one sows. You have to acknowledge a problem before you can address it, and with over 100 priest accused it's a serious problem," while another said: "As soon as the Catholic Church apologizes for all the damage they have done to children from the 60s...70s...80s...90s...00s...2010s.... The thousands of children Priests have raped and then covered up.... Then maybe Pete can apologize. Hows that?"

Nothing to hide. Jussie Smollett’s legal team welcomed Cook County’s decision to allow cameras into the courtroom at his next appearance Thursday on criminal charges.

Judge LeRoy Martin Jr. said that whoever is names as presiding judge will ultimately decide if the hearing will be videotaped. Smollett, who is facing charges that he staged a phony hate crime against himself, appeared in court with his lawyers, two of his brothers and a sister-in-law. He was not required to appear, but did so "to show confidence in his innocence."

"He will do everything he needs to do," his rep, Anne Kavanagh said. "He will go the extra mile to cooperate with the process."

During the hearing, Smollett's attorney Tina Glandian told the court she would welcome cameras to allow the public to "see the evidence and the lack thereof."

"We welcome cameras in the courtroom so that the public and the media can see the actual evidence and what we believe is the lack of evidence against Mr. Smollett and we look forward to complete transparency and the truth coming out," she said.

Smollett is free on $100,000 bond after being indicted on 16 charges of lying to police, who suspect he enlisted two other black men to help him stage a racist and homophobic attack on January 29th.

AVA DUVERNAY TALKS COMPTON-TO-HOLLYWOOD STORY: Ava DuVernay was honored by Mindy Kaling at last week’s VH1 Trailblazer Honors, along with #MeToo founder Tatana Burke, author Margaret Atwood and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "Standing in a room like this, in front of a crowd like you, I can’t help to remember the girl I was growing up in Compton," said DuVernay, welcomed to the stage after receiving compliments from Kaling on activism, creativity, social media and, yes, fashion. (She joked: "Her fashion is so on point that sometimes I forget that she's a director and I'm like, 'what's with Oprah's hot friend?'") "I remember when movies seemed so glamorous and far away, and I can’t believe that I get to make them." She also gave her mother Darlene and her late aunt Denise credit for her journey. "I was 32 the first time I picked up a camera. That’s ancient in film years," she explained. "Where did the audacity to come from to say, 'I can do this, I can make films?' ... My mother taught me that my flaws were my gifts so because of her I never questioned my desire or my ability to make films or do anything else. All I knew is that I wanted was to make films about women like her — fearless, gorgeous, courageous, brave, better than they think they are."
