OCTOMOM SAYS MANAGER FORCED HER INTO PORN: Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, opened up to The New York Times about the reality of raising 14 children on her own. The 43-year-old, who now goes by Natalie, says her doctor misled her, telling her it was safe to implant 12 embryos. He has since lost his license and left the U.S., she adds. "I have PTSD from all the reporters coming in over the years. I would take whatever I could back in the days, and I would let them in. I was spiraling down a dark hole. There were no healthy opportunities for Octomom," she says. "I was doing what I was told to do and saying what I was told to say. When you're pretending to be something you're not, at least for me, you end up falling on your face." She also claims her manager forced her into porn. She says: "I wanted to quit, but my manager said, 'If you do, I'm reporting you to welfare for fraud.' I gave my bank account to her to control because I was so overwhelmed and busy managing my family. Checks that were forged — minimum $60,000 was stolen in six months. And she was selling stories left and right. She was a predator."

Pete Davidson refused to see Ariana Grande when she showed up at 30 Rock after seeing him post a suicidal note on Instagram, TMZ reports.
Sources tell the site that Davidson told security to refuse entry to his former fiancé.
Davidson posted this on Instagram, then deleted his account over the weekend: "i really don't want to be on this earth anymore. i'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last."
On Saturday, the Saturday Night Live star appeared on the show briefly to introduce Miley Cyrus, and in a pre-taped skit. While on-set, he reportedly refused to leave his dressing room during rehearsals. After the show wrapped, Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly were seen leaving Rockefeller Plaza together in an SUV.
Kelly was among the crowd of celebs on social media sending shout-outs to the troubled star over the weekend. On Monday, Kelly responded to a fan who questioned why he flew to New York, tweeting: "I absolutely got on that flight to come hold my boy down otherwise i would’ve stayed in the studio until today."

The Oscar-winning Mahershala Ali has apologized to the family of Dr. Donald W. Shirley, whom he played in Green Book. The film, directed by Peter Farrelly, had come under fire previously for its so-called "magical negro" storyline, and now family members of Dr. Shirley's are denouncing the film for what they characterize as narrative falsehoods.
In a sweeping interview in Shadow And Act, Dr. Shirley’s nephew Edwin Shirley III, and his brother, Maurice Shirley, say the film twisted the truth of the friendship between Dr. Shirley and chauffeur Tony "Lip" Vallelonga, played by Viggo Mortensen. Maurice and his wife Patricia tell the publication they weren’t friends at all.
"It was an employer-employee relationship," Patricia says. Edwin says Dr. Shirley never referred to Tony as a "friend," and calls the relationship "the only kind of relationship that Dr. Shirley ever had with any of the people he worked with."
"You asked what kind of relationship he had with Tony? He fired Tony!" Maurice says. "Which is consistent with the many firings he did with all of his chauffeurs over time…Tony would not open the door, he would not take any bags, he would take his chauffeur’s cap off when Donald got out of the car, and several times Donald would find him with the cap off, and confronted him. When you hear that Tony had been with him for 18 months, I can assure you, no chauffeur lasted with my brother for 18 months. Anybody who knew my brother’s temper and had any experience with any of his other chauffeurs—the maximum was the one from right here in Milwaukee from the Urban League that lasted at least two months."
FAMILY MATTERS
Most distressingly, they say, was the part of the film that showed Dr. Shirley as being estranged from his family.
"That was very hurtful," Edwin say. "That’s just 100% wrong."
Maurice goes further, calling the film a "symphony of lies."
ALI APOLOGIZES
Once Ali learned of their distress, they say he called them to apologize.
"I got a call from Mahershala Ali, a very, very respectful phone call, from him personally," Maurice says. "He called me and my Uncle Maurice in which he apologized profusely if there had been any offense."
"What he said was, ‘If I have offended you, I am so, so terribly sorry. I did the best I could with the material I had. I was not aware that there were close relatives with whom I could have consulted to add some nuance to the character,’" adds Edwin.

Jada Pinkett Smith is opening up about her struggles with mental health. On Monday’s episode of her Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk, the 47-year-old star opens up with her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones, her 18-year-old daughter, Willow, and guest Kid Cudi on her suicidal thoughts, which seemed to crest as she began to achieve critical success.
Says Jada of a breakdown that happened when she was 20: "I had an emotional breakdown that definitely I feel like affected my mental stability. ... I became extremely suicidal. I had a complete emotional collapse. When you just don't have control over your emotions, your thoughts, you feel completely and utterly out of control."
Jada says she moved to L.A. and found success, which counter-intuitively made her depression worse. "They put me on Prozac, it was, like, five milligrams, but once it disrupted my sex drive I said, 'Look, that's the one thing I have in my life ...'" she says with a laugh. "That was the thing that got me off of Prozac. They put me on it just so I could get to a place where I could talk about what was happening, where I could function."
"I was severely depressed and that was something I battled for years," she continues. "Waking up in the morning was the worst part of the day."
She admits to turning to drinking and drugs at a certain point to combat depression and anxiety.
"I was doing ecstasy because I wanted to party," she recalls. "I was doing ecstasy, weed and a bottle of Courvoisier, because I wanted to get lit. I wasn't making the connection."

Meghan Markle wowed fans when she made a glowing appearance at the British Fashion Awards last week, but per TMZ, no one who was at the show was particularly thrilled.
Sources tell TMZ that the Duchess’ backstage protocol at the Royal Albert Hall was over the top, and that several big stars, including Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora and the Beckhams, were miffed that she refused to allow them into her area. Actress Rosamund Pike, who co-presented with Meghan and Givenchy designer Clare Waight Keller, who won the award Meghan was handing out, did get facetime.
ROYAL SNUB?
Another report shows Meghan and Prince Harry snubbing Kate Middleton and Prince William at Christmas. The Sussexes will spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham, after declining to stay with Will and Kate at their Norfolk home.
A royal source told The Sun: "There’s not a huge amount of room at Sandringham so it’s quite surprising. Maybe they just want their own space.
"Things are civil between the couples but they don’t spend much time together."
This comes amid reports of a feud between the couples.
MARKLE EFFECT
Meanwhile, the Suits-star turned Duchess has become a style icon, with sales for the brands she wears following, according to a new report out of Elle UK. Stella McCartney, who designed her reception gown, had a 3,000% boost in sales; Givenchy, designer of her wedding dress, saw a sale-increase of 61%.
"On average, if Meghan wears a designer, that brand will see a 200 percent increase in search demand over the following week," Yasmine Bachir, fashion search engine Lyst's senior communications executive, told Elle UK.
PLUS ….
Because Meghan can’t through a day with a cringe-worthy flare-up from someone in her family, half-sister Samantha reacted to the Christmas cards she and Harry shared. The sweet shot was taken at Frogmore House as the couple watched fireworks at their May wedding.
Samantha sniped on Twitter: "Interesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their backs turned. Is this towards the world or just the Ragland and Markle family? It’s a bit sad. Face the Christmas spirit."
She later added: "It’s incredibly rude to turn your back in a Christmas photo that is meant to share warmth and good wishes with the world. Those that criticize me for pointing out the truth, need to get that brown stuff off their noses. I hear the world’s smallest violin playing."

NYPD officers performed a "wellness check" on SNL star Pete Davidson after he posted a disturbing cry for help on Instagram. He wrote: "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. i'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last. all i've ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so."
Davidson then deleted his account. Hours later, he appeared in two skits on SNL. In one pre-recorded segment, he played Mr. Robot star Rami Malek auditioning to take over the host role at the Oscars (which Kevin Hart famously vacated after old homophobic tweets of his resurfaced). Later, he introduced a live performance by Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson.
BAD PATCH
This has been a rough year for Davidson, who has been open about his struggle with mental health. In October, he and pop star Ariana Grande split after a four-month-long highly publicized (and mocked) engagement.
Earlier this month, he took to Instagram to complain about the bullying he says he’s suffered at the hands of Grande fans. He wrote: "I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference."
"I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this," he wrote.
CELEB SUPPORT
NBC has not commented on the matter. Several celebrities, including Jon Cryer, Machine Gun Kelly and Jada Pinkett Smith posted messages of support to him on Instagram.
Michael Rapaport, meanwhile, apologized after posting several tweets that mocked both Davidson and Kanye West. "Didn’t realize Pete Davidson posted an actual genuinely scary IG note," he admitted. "Had no clue. Was not informed of all of those details. Would never mock someone when they’re truly down. Sincerely. I thought this was all the daily normal gossip of the day & was doing my daily take."

Last month, Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoww" Farley seemed to be healing the worst part of her rift with estranged husband Roger Mathews, but their relationship has taken a turn for the worse it seems.
After posing with him on the red carpet with their young daughter just a few weeks ago, Farley filed a temporary restraining order against him, according to reports.
"At approximately 1:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14th, 2018 police were dispatched to the home of Jenni Farley and Roger Mathews for a civil matter," the police department said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY Friday. "Mr. Mathews was served with a Temporary Restraining Order and provided transportation to another location."
The 32-year-old addressed the issue on Instagram, via what appears to be a prepared statement: "Certain events transpired last night which lead (sic) Jenni to involve the authorities, as she felt it was in her best interests, and the best interests of her children to do so. Any statements and social media posts depicting anything to the contrary are entirely false, misleading and intentionally designed to cast Jenni in a negative light.
Meanwhile, Mathews shared his own version of events on social media. "I called the police to preemptively get ahead of what I thought she was gonna do," he continued. "I get woken up at 2 o'clock in the morning by the police. She filed a restraining order."
Farley’s Jersey Shore costar and BFF Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi defended her, sharing video of Farley asking police for Mathews to be permitted to see their kids, she wrote: "My best friend has been going through A LOT these past few months and my heart breaks for her. She always tries to keep her situations off social media for the sake of the kids, but her voice needs to be heard too."
She continued: "She has tried everything in her power to keep things civil FOR THE KIDS and she’s a damn good mother. She doesn’t leave her kids for months at a time for work. She leaves filming to care for her children that you don’t see. She wants nothing but for the kids to have their dad," Polizzi continued. "Unfortunately she was being taunted and baited & this was the result."

Natalie Portman is speaking out about Israel’s nation-state law, passed earlier this year to criticism within the country and abroad. In an interview with the London-based Arabic daily Al-Quds Al-Arabi, the Oscar-winner says the law is "racist."
The law states that "Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people," despite Israel’s Arab citizenship, which numbers some 1.8 million, or 20% of the nation’s 9 million total population. The law also defines Hebrew as Israel’s official language.
Portman opines: "It is a mistake and I don't agree with it ... people's lives are being affected on a personal level by decisions made by politicians. I only hope that we will be able to truly love our neighbors and that we can work together."
It’s not the first time the Israeli-born Portman has spoken out against her native country. Less than a year ago, she pulled out of a prize ceremony in Tel Aviv, weeks after Israeli troops shot and killed Palestinian protestors at the Gaza border.

Reigning Miss USA Sarah Rose Summers has apologized on Instagram after getting dragged for openly mocking Miss Vietnam H'Hen Nie, and Miss Cambodia Sinat Rern, for not speaking English.
In a video captured by Miss Colombia Valeria Morales, Summers, 24, asks, and then answers, "What do you think of Miss Vietnam Nie?"
Summers says: "She's so cute and she pretends to know so much English, and then you ask her a question after having a whole conversation with her and she goes smiles and nods. She's adorable."
Later in the video, Summers appears to have empathy for Rern: "Miss Cambodia is here and doesn't speak any English and not a single other person speaks her language. Can you imagine? Miss Australia Francesca Hung said 'that would be so isolating,' and I said, 'Yes, and just confusing all the time.' Poor Cambodia."
In her apology, Summers says: "In a moment where I intended to admire the courage of a few of my sisters, I said something that I now realize can be perceived as not respectful, and I apologize."
TMZ reached out to her mother Desiree, who says: "She in no way meant any harm. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body." As for imitating Miss Vietnam, Desiree says, "Summers was just recreating how Miss Vietnam acts when she doesn’t understand what someone is saying. She wasn’t trying to mock her."

Sophia Bush explained why she left NBC’s Chicago P.D. in season four, despite her seven-year contract. On Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast Monday, she says she was assaulted in a room full of men who refused to help her. Plus, she felt ground down by her bosses on the show.
"I quit because, what I’ve learned is I’ve been so programmed to be a good girl and to be a workhorse and be a tugboat that I have always prioritized tugging the ship for the crew, for the show, for the group, ahead of my own health," the 36-year-old actress said.
She continued: "I internalized and sort of like, inhabited that role of ‘pull the tugboat’ to the point where just because I’m unhappy or being mistreated or I’m being abused at work, I’m not gonna f–k this job up for all these people and what about the camera guy whose two daughters I love and this is how he pays their rent? It becomes such a big thing."
"The reality was that my body was, like, falling apart, because I was really, really unhappy."
Bush said that being assaulted changed things: "You start to lose your way when someone assaults you in a room full of people and everyone literally looks away, looks at the floor, looks at the ceiling — and you're the one woman in the room and every man who's twice your size doesn't do something. You go, 'Oh that wasn’t worth defending? I'm not worth defending?' "
Ultimately, Bush said she told her bosses they either need to make changes or find a replacement for her. When they told her no, Bush said: "OK, you can put me in the position of going quietly of my own accord or you can put me in the position of suing the network to get me out of my deal and I'll write an op-ed for The New York Times and tell them why."
Later, she found out her complaints had been hidden from former NBC chief Jennifer Stalke, who reached out to Bush after finding out.
"That I really appreciated," Bush said of Stalke's response.

Horrors, Meghan Markle has broken royal fashion protocol yet again! The world’s most rebellious royal made a surprise appearance at the 2018 British Fashion Awards in London, and while many admired her stunning Givenchy gown and blossoming bump, others were quick to note her dark nail polish.
Evidently, Goth nails are a no-go for royals.
Meghan presented Givenchy’s artistic director Clare Waight Kelly with the Designer of the Year Award. Kelly, of course, designed her wedding dress. "This woman is so amazing," Keller gushed during her acceptance speech. "I got to know Meghan on such a personal level. To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life... I can't thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment."
The dark polish was wild enough by royal standards, but Meghan got tongues wagging again when she opted to have some fun in a photobooth with Rosamund Pike and Keller.

Kim Kardashian is spilling the tea on her past drug use, her sister’s rumored marriage and the cardinal beauty rule she breaks on the regular.
ICYMI, Kim recently revealed that she’d filmed her famous sex tape while on the drug ecstasy … and also married her first husband on the drug. As she put it on a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians: "I did ecstasy once and I got married, I did it again and I made a sex tape. Like, everything bad would happen."
After Sunday’s episode, she appeared on Busy Philipps’ Busy Tonight and confessed that her momager Kris Jenner finally put a stop to the hijinks.
DRUGS
"I would tell my mom everything, we always had such a close relationship," Kim told Busy. "So I would come home and be like, ‘Oh my god, mom, I did ecstasy last night'....She was sitting on top of the washing machine …. and she was like, 'You, one day, you’re not going to be able to have babies, you can’t do this, you’re going to ruin yourself!' Like, she was so upset."
She says Kris was worried she’s be a "crazy drug addict," and eventually she agreed.
"I just was like, 'You know what? She’s so right, I’m so over it,'" Kim said. "Like, this is so not me. And I just never did anything again."
MARRIAGE
Busy also asked Kim about those rumors that her sister Kylie Jenner had married Travis Scott.
Kim said: "I honestly don't know. I see that too...they're the cutest and I think they're so in love and they have the cutest little family. I would say like no, they're just being cute and posting that, but they posted it a few times, so I am going to ask in our group chat today when we leave here."
MAKEUP
She also copped to sleeping in her makeup, normally a skincare no-no. "Oh, all the time. Like even if I can’t have glam the next day, I’ll sleep perfectly and maybe I’ll redo my skin, but I try to salvage it for two days," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star admitted.

Pete Davidson wants the negativity to stop. Since the Saturday Night Live star returned to Instagram last week following his split from Ariana Grande, he has not encountered a warm reception.
Fans of Grande’s have poured into his comments section, accusing him of ending the engagement. In a heartbreaking new post, Davidson shares his past—and current—struggles with mental health, saying he hopes his openness will raise awareness in general about the huge impact cyberbullying can have on victims.
"I've kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything," the 25-year-old comedian writes. "I'm trying to understand how when something happens to a guy the whole entire world just trashes him without any facts or frame of reference. Especially in today's climate where everyone loves to be offended and upset it truly is mind-boggling."
"I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for nine months," he continues. "I've spoken about BPD and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth. I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this. To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is -- I see you and I love you."
Sympathy poured in from fans, with one writing "please stay strong," and another saying, "You are amazing!"
