Notoriously difficult to please Debra Tate is here for Margot Robbie’s portrayal of her murdered sister, the actress Sharon Tate, in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

She told TMZ that she was worried Sharon would come off as an egomaniac, but that Margot managed to pull it off: "Depending on how Margot played it, it could’ve appeared egotistical. But, no, she did a beautiful job. Sharon did not have an egotistical bone in her body. Margot captures Sharon's sweetness very nicely."

This is major because Debra has become notorious for savaging stars who depict her sister. She called Hilary Duff’s portrayal of Sharon "classless" and "exploitative," saying "It doesn’t matter who it is acting in it - it’s just tasteless. It’s classless how everyone is rushing to release something for the 50th anniversary of this horrific event."

When she learned that Tarantino was considering Jennifer Lawrence for the role of Sharon, she said: "Not that I have anything against Lawrence, but she's...she's not pretty enough to play Sharon. That's a horrible thing to say, but you know. I have my standards."

Tate, of course, was murdered in 1969 by members of the Charles Manson cult. The cult’s intersection with Hollywood is portrayed in Once Upon a Time, which also stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Natalie Portman is not here for Moby’s "creepy" claim that they once were an item. In a recent memoir, Then It Fell Apart, Moby claims that he briefly dated Portman when she was 20 and he was 33, after flirting in his dressing room.

Here’s how he described the sitch of them "kissing under the centuries-old oak trees at Harvard University. At midnight she brought me to her dorm room and we lay down next to each other on her small bed. After she fell asleep I carefully extracted myself from her arms and took a taxi back to my hotel." By his own account, the romance ended because, "I wanted one thing: for me to be alone … nothing triggered my panic attacks more than getting close to a woman I cared about."

Portman has responded, telling Harper’s Bazaar that not only did it never happen, she was actually 18 at the time.

"I was surprised to hear that he characterized the very short time that I knew him as dating because my recollection is a much older man being creepy with me when I just had graduated high school. He said I was 20; I definitely wasn’t. I was a teenager. I had just turned 18. There was no fact-checking from him or his publisher — it almost feels deliberate."

Moby, apparently, is nonplussed by Portman’s denial. The musician took to Instagram to share of photo of them together.

He wrote: "I recently read a gossip piece wherein Natalie Portman said that we'd never dated. This confused me, as we did, in fact, date. And after briefly dating in 1999 we remained friends for years."

"I like Natalie, and I respect her intelligence and activism. But, to be honest, I can't figure out why she would actively misrepresent the truth about our(albeit brief)involvement," Moby continued. "The story as laid out in my book Then It Fell Apart is accurate, with lots of corroborating photo evidence, etc."

Amy Schumer’s first mom-shaming went about as you’d expect. The 37-year-old, who welcomed baby Gene with her husband Chris Fischer on May 5th, returned to stand-up Monday night, and predictably, there were some judgy trolls who immediately took note.

"Already???? That’s insane!!! And inhumane. Contract or not you need to be allowed at least 6 weeks for maternity," one comment read, while another fan posted a shocked-face emoji alongside the message, "Take some time."

"I’m sorry. What?! Didn’t you birth a human like 5 minutes ago?" a third wrote.

While the Trainwreck star didn’t take on the shamers individually, she responded to her famous friend Jimmy Kimmel's wife, producer Molly McNearney, who wrote: "And … here comes the mom shaming … ughhhhhhhhhhh."

Schumer quipped back to the 41-year-old mom of two: "I’ve always wanted to be mom shamed!!!!"

Many other fans supported Schumer as well, opining, "You can’t keep a good woman down," to which she replied, "No, you can’t!"

Chrissy Teigen has an 11 million+ audience on Twitter, with another 24 million+ following alon with her on Instagram. In a new interview with Bustle, Teigen breaks down how getting constantly trolled by haters feels, and why she is pushing to move her activist tendencies beyond the realm of hashtags.

Even among supporters of her causes, Teigen says she is constantly hearing from folks who say she isn’t doing enough, or is speaking out about the wrong things. She tells Bustle: "People really try to get you to speak out about every single thing, or they'll tell you if you do speak out about something that there's something else out there that's more important. So you can't really ever win, and for me, that's a frustrating thing."

Some issues are so daunting, Teigen admits she doesn’t know where to begin. Referencing recent strict abortion bills, she says: "I looked at husband John Legend the other day and I said... 'Everything that's happening in Alabama and women's rights being stripped away, you wonder, what can you do? Like what can I say?'"

Teigen and her husband also make sure to pay it forward, donating $72K per family member to the ACLU on President Trump’s 72nd birthday last year.

She says: "Obviously everyone probably knows my beliefs. I don't know what I can say to change anything, and I think a lot of people feel that way. John and I like to take it a step further and connect directly with the ACLU, or connect directly with people that are being affected in Alabama, and make our donations that way."

Sometimes though, she just can’t. Teigen says: "There's some crazy things happening in the world that you want to be able to address. Sometimes for me, I'm just not mentally prepared to take on that stress, maybe that day, that week."

Emilia Clarke is addressing the fans who were less than pleased—enraged, more like it—by her character Dany's personal arc on HBO’s Game of Thrones. The final episode aired Sunday and viewers sounded off on social media not only about Clarke’s character, but also by yet another out-of-place on-set beverage.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she discussed her character’s descent into homicidal madness, and put her personal spin on why she did the things she did.

Clarke explains how the beloved rebel turned into a psychotic dictator thusly: "The problem is the Starks don’t like her and she sees it. She goes, ‘Okay, one chance.’ She gives them that chance and it doesn’t work and she’s too far to turn around. She’s made her bed, she’s laying in it. It’s done. And that’s the thing. I don’t think she realizes until it happens—the real effect of their reactions on her is: ‘I don’t give a sh*t.’ This is my whole existence. Since birth! She literally was brought into this world going, ‘Run!’ These f*ckers have f*cked everything up, and now it’s, ‘You’re our only hope.’"

One breaking, she said, was her incestuous relationship with Kit Harington’s character Jon Snow: "And there’s just this last thread she’s holding onto: There’s this boy. And she thinks, ‘He loves me, and I think that’s enough.’ But is it enough? Is it? And it’s just that hope and wishing that finally there is someone who accepts her for everything she is and…he f*cking doesn’t."

But then, Missandei dies: "There’s a number of turning points you see for Daenerys in the season, but that’s the biggest break. There’s nothing I will not do after losing Missandei and seeing the sacrifice she was prepared to make for her. That breaks her completely. There’s nothing left to making a tough choice."

And despite it all, she told EW, "Having said all of the things I’ve just said…I stand by Daenerys. I stand by her! I can’t not."

Harington's response was less measured. "Whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their judgement on it, in my head they can go f–k themselves," he tells Esquire. "Because I know how much work was put into this."

Meanwhile, it seems hydration is a priority in Westeros. Fans noticed a plastic water bottle near Sir Samwell Tarlyl’s left foot in Sunday night’s finale, and immediately took to Twitter to heap scorn on the show, which, despite its sky-high budget, has been plagued with editing errors this season.

One person tweeted: "I’ve never seen Game of Thrones before, but I fear for the PA who left a Starbucks cup AND a water bottle in the shot during two separate episodes," alluding to a rogue Starbucks cup, which appeared on-set two episodes ago.

While HBO edited out the Starbucks coffee post-airing, it’s unclear if the water bottle will meet the same fate.

Meghan McCain apologized Monday after revealing the Game of Thrones ending on air on The View and spoiling it for fans who hadn’t seen it yet.

Her hosts were furious; Whoopi Goldberg got up and walked away for a moment and Sunny Hostin gasped, claiming she’d only gotten to season four.

"I'm sorry, but it's all over the internet," she noted. "I wasn't told I wasn't allowed to say it. I'm sorry, everyone. It's all over the internet. You would have found out one way or the other. As a dedicated fan who watched it live last night like everyone was supposed to, OK?"

Even Leonardo DiCaprio plays second fiddle to Instagram. The 44-year-old is nominally in Cannes to promote the Quentin Tarantino-helmed film in which he stars with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but in reality, he’s also playing the all-important role of Instagram boyfriend to Camila Morrone.

The 21-year-old was photographed being photographed by DiCaprio outside the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antiebes where the pair and countless other celebs seem to be staying. She looked gorgeous in a flowing polka-dot dress, and DiCaprio was photographed photographing her from multiple angles as she posed coyly.

She posted a shot with the caption, "Press day jazz," though sadly failed to credit the photographer (to be fair, it's unclear if she posted one of DiCaprio's shots). Morrone is also at Cannes promoting Mickey and the Bear. The pair have reportedly been dating since December of 2017.

ELLEN DEGENERES, REESE WITHERSPOON DUKE IT OUT FOR JENNIFER ANISTON: Ellen DeGeneres and Reese Witherspoon are fighting over Jennifer Aniston. Witherspoon appeared on DeGeneres’ show Monday, and the pair got into a faux fight over who’s closer to mutual pal Aniston. "We always have the best time together," Witherspoon tells DeGeneres after the two recount partying at Aniston’s recent 50th birthday party. "Do you think you and I have a better time together than you and Jen?" DeGeneres asks. "Well, I mean, Jen and I know each other better because we’re really, really good friends and we just finished our television show that we have coming out together, it’s called the Morning Show," Witherspoon answers, plugging their upcoming Apple TV show. "Yeah, she told me she needed a break, she was glad it was over," DeGeneres jokingly hits back. The battle continues, until they call Aniston, who tells them she’s too busy to talk because she’s on the treadmill. When an out-of-breath Aniston returns the call, she tells DeGeneres that she "wins": "Yes honey, we’ve cleared this up. Haven’t we. Yes darling, that’s based on almost 30 years of knowing each other."
