Speaking to the New York Times, she sniffed: "I haven't seen it completed. Bradley Cooper did show me the opening. I was surprised by how similar it was to my version. I loved how he used the drag bar. I thought that was new and interesting. What I've seen of the film I really liked." Streisand won an Oscar in 1977 for Best Original Song.

BEN AFFLECK CAN’T CATCH A BREAK: Fresh off his divorce from Jennifer Garner and release from rehab, Ben Affleck has become a target in the (fake) war between his BFF Matt Damon and late night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel, 50, and Damon, 48, wore "I’m With Stupid" t-shirts (pointed at each other, natch) during Game 5 of the World Series, but on Monday, poor Affleck got dragged in. "The biggest loser last night, even though his team won, really was Ben Affleck, who made the mistake of sitting between us with our shirts," the comedian said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, October 29. "I believe they call it ‘collateral damage.’"

"I'm not, like, Gail King close with Oprah, but I would say we're friends. I have her phone number," Kaling, 39, told Philipps. "I will say, when I was in labor with my baby I got a bunch of texts and the great thing about when you're in labor is like, 'Oh, I don't have to respond to any of these people.' But she texted me about something about her magazine and I remember, I'm literally in labor, and was like, 'Oh, of course, anything!' I'm laying in Cedars-Sinai... Lay off the 'gram, kids! That seems to be the message the pregnant Duchess of Sussex is sending in her latest round of public remarks. Meghan Markle should know of what she speaks, having been extraordinarily active on social media as an actress, even launching a lifestyle blog at one point.

As a royal though, she has given up the blog and her social media accounts, and she wants others, especially young people, to step back from social occasionally as well.

Speaking to volunteers for Live for Tomorrow, a mental health organization for kids, she said it was "freeing" to stop worrying about how many "likes" she racked up per post, adding that "flattery and criticism run through the same filter."

Meghan added: "Young people find it so difficult. You see photos on social media and you don't know whether she's born with it or maybe it's a filter."

Prince Harry also weighed in. "Issues stemming from social media and gaming are a major problem for young people in the UK—and globally," he said. "Fingers are often pointed at the parents but that's not always fair as they too need to be educated about these things."

During an appearance on NBC’s Today, Kerry Washington corrected Craig Melvin when he called her a "mother of two." Nope, she said. She’s a "mother of three."

Cue the head-scratching on social media. Did she and husband Nnamdi Asomugha have another secret tot? They’re definitely proud parents to Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, 4, and Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, 2.

But the child she was referring to, according to E!, is her stepchild. Asomugha and Washington also share a 12-year-old daughter from a relationship prior to his with Washington.

Washington was on Today to promote the Broadway play American Son, currently in previews and co-starring Stephen Pasquale. "It's definitely, for me, one of the most challenging projects I've ever taken on as an actor. It's very special to me. It's a really beautiful play about parenting and about love and about identity and race. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world that I get to do it eight times a week," the 41-year-old actress admitted to Craig. "And also...it's really hard!"

American Son opens Nov. 6 at the Booth Theatre in New York City.

HBO HIRES INTIMACY COORDINATORS: The Deuce hired intimacy coordinators to oversee sex scenes, some believe a step taken to counteract objections to James Franco, who has been accused of sexual misconduct, and his continued role on the series. One of the actresses on the series’ first season, Emily Meade, also requested an advocate after feeling uncomfortable on the set. But now, "all HBO programs with intimate scenes will be staffed by an intimacy coordinator," the company confirmed this week. "I am here to give a voice to actors, especially actors who feel like they don’t have one," the coordinator, Alicia Rodis, told Rolling Stone. "And I’m also here for the producers, to make sure that they know they’re doing their best to make sure the set is safe. Here we are a year after #MeToo and Brett Kavanaugh sits on the Supreme Court. Donald Trump is our president. Now, tell me we don’t need this — that we don’t have a culture that needs to still be changed."

Six months after announcing their split, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are making it official. Dewan filed for divorce Friday from Tatum, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

Dewan’s lawyer Samantha Spector filed paperwork requesting joint legal and physical custody of their 5-year-old daughter Everly. She also requested to have her name legally restored to Jenna Dewan, instead of Jenna Dewan Tatum. Tatum filed a response also requesting joint custody.

"We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together," the pair said in a joint statement announcing their split in April. "Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."

Both have reportedly re-entered the dating pool. The 38-year-old Magic Mike star is dating singer Jessie J, according to multiple reports. The 37-year-old Dewan is also reportedly dating, but the object of her affection remains mysterious.

The latest had Dewan "getting cozy" with a mystery man at the Casamigos Halloween party held at co-founder Mike Meldman’s Beverly Hills home. E! News reports that she was dressed as a fairy, and "couldn’t keep" her "hands" of the new man.

"They definitely seemed like they were dating and left the party holding hands. They were kissing in the courtyard before they exited," the source told E!. "It definitely didn't seem like Jenna was hiding anything."

Halloween maintained its top spot at the box office for the second weekend in a row. Universal and Blumhouse’s Jamie Lee Curtis-starring slasher picked up $32 million this weekend, a drop of 58% since its debut.

Robert De Niro has made a point of publicizing his disdain for President Donald Trump. Now, the FBI reports that he has become the target of a suspicious package. De Niro is just one in a string of Democrats who have reportedly received pipe bombs in the mail.

The suspicious package was removed on Thursday morning by police from 375 Greenwich Street in Manhattan, home to his production company Tribeca Enterprises and restaurant, Tribeca Grill.

Like the previous packages sent to President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Soros and others, the return address is listed as Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

"A suspicious package was received. We called the police. They took it out and went through all safety procedures" a statement released by Tribeca Enterprises reads. "It was addressed to Robert De Niro and is similar packaging to the others. It is an open investigation. Everyone is safe and the building is open."

Speaking at the Tony Awards in June, De Niro said "I'm gonna say one thing: f*** Trump! It's no longer 'down with Trump,' it's 'f*** Trump!' "

In January at the National Board of Review Awards, he said: "This f***ing idiot is the president. It's the Emperor's New Clothes — the guy is a f***ing fool."

While promoting HBO’s The Wizard of Lies, he told USA Today: "What amazes me is that (Donald Trump is) such a bad con artist. Bernie Madoff was a guy who was low-key. I make no excuse for him: what he did was horrible and awful; monstrous. But Trump is in your face every day doing something that is absolutely what word can I use? He’s just a slob. He’s a pig."

Celebrities, including Kathy Griffith and Michael Moore, took to Twitter to support De Niro and caution fans against silence through fear.

On Wednesday, a character on Modern Family died. The ABC show has been relentlessly teasing the death throughout its 10th season, and fans seem decidedly underwhelmed.

The show, about a blended family in L.A., could have knocked off a major character, with many speculating that it would be Sofia Vergara, or Stella the French bulldog. Still others mentioned Ariel Winter, Sarah Hyland or Ty Burrell as possibilites (but, aside from Stella, as the arguably the biggest fan draws, they were never really considered serious contenders).

Instead, social media observers gripe, they decided to kill of DeDe (Shelley Long), the ex-wife of Jay (Ed O’Neill), and the mother of Dunphy adults.

She died offscreen, "peacefully in her sleep while on a trip with her women’s group."

Co-creator Steve Levitan said of the choice: "She's directly involved with three of our characters and she touched everybody's life in some interesting way. It seemed like the right character to put everybody through something. She seemed like right character because she so directly affects so many of our characters."

But fans weren’t here for it. One wrote that the show "trolled" fans with the constant death hype, while others just kept noting that they don’t define a "major" character as someone who’s "been on 7 episodes of a 10-season show."

Supermodel and activist Karlie Kloss married venture capitalist Josh Kusnher in a surprise ceremony Thursday after getting engaged in July. They’ve been together for six years altogether.

Kloss, 26, and Kushner, 33, keep much of their relationship private, with many speculating that his relationship to the first family (his brother is Jared Kushner and his sister-in-law is Ivanka Trump, daughter of President Donald Trump) has complicated life for both of them. Kloss supported Hilary Clinton’s run for president.

It’s unclear if his family was in attendance at the wedding. Kloss has spoken out several times about her "liberal values" (and claims Josh Kushner shares them as well), but she seems to be on cordial terms with Ivanka Trump, who tweeted a congratulations to them. (Though social media users were quick to drag both women for their connection to each other, writing that Kloss is now "complicit" with Trump's politics by marrying into the family, and that Trump is merely using Kloss' cultural cache to boost her family).

Kloss did share news of their engagement on social media, and also shared a sweet shot of their wedding, which took place in front of around 80 people in Upstate New York. Kloss reportedly converted to Judaism for Kushner and they plan to hold a larger ceremony at a later date.
