SOPHIE TURNER TALKS GOT SPIN-OFF: Sophie Turner rose to fame as Sansa Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones. Now that the show is over, many are hoping the 23-year-old will consider a spinoff. She told The Hollywood Reporter: "No. It's time for me to say goodbye. She's ended up in a place that I'm so happy with. I don't know. It would be different if someone actually came and said, ‘We want to do a Sansa spinoff show,’ but I'm pretty sure I'd say no. It's been 10 years of watching this character grow, and she's at her peak right now. I'm sure if she carried on and did a spinoff show, it would just be downhill from there. She'd have to go through some other terrible traumas or something, and I don't want to do that."

MORGAN FREEMAN TALKS GOD: For the past three seasons, Morgan Freeman has hosted The Story of God with National Geographic. At a recent screening, Deadline reports he said: "My curiosity about God goes way back. Amazing, you look at this, how similar people are around the world. They have belief systems that may be different from each other on some level or other but they all aspire to goodness and almost every religion promises life ever after." Each episode focuses on a different theme, and producers say their access has been incredible. James Younger explains: "We have a fairly big team to move around the world—about 15 or 20 people, which is quite large for a documentary team," Younger notes. "Then we have to get access to places—to the Vatican, to monasteries in Kathmandu, Notre Dame de Paris… Collaborating with the top local producers in different countries who can help us secure access through foreign governments."

While she declined to discuss Cosby directly, she did address its absence from TV.. "Well, Dreamgirls can't be seen anymore. The Wiz can't be seen anymore," she says of her past Broadway gigs. "Most of the work I've done isn't seen anymore. But you keep going." Speaking of her creative choices, she said: "It's just finding truth in it — how the character thinks, why a person thinks the way they do. Honest interactions make the comedy funnier and make the drama more heartfelt."

MICHELLE WILLIAMS COMPARES ACTING IN ‘DAWSON’S CREEK’ TO FACTORY WORK

Times have changed since Michelle Williams last graced the small screen. In a frank conversation with Patricia Clarkson for Variety, she reveals that working on Dawson’s Creek was about as creative as factory work.

"Doing Dawson's Creek for six-and-a-half years, while it was an incredible learning experience—we did 22 episodes a year, and you'd be getting scripts at the last minute and you had zero input," Williams said. "It was a little like a factory job."

Clarkson said, "It sounds formulaic," and Williams agreed. "You couldn't curse or be naked," Clarkson said.

The experience prevented her from delving back into TV for several years. Williams and Clarkson appear in 2019’s Fosse/Verdon, which is getting a ton of Emmys buzz, and Williams explains why she reconsidered.

"Try as I might. I don't think I've done television in between then and now because of a fear of loss of input. When this came around, people had been saying for a long time, ‘Television is different now.' And I could see that that was true and that it was something that I should open myself up to," Williams said about doing Fosse/Verdon.

At 64, the Glory star, who has won two Oscars, three Golden Globes and one Tony, tells The Hollywood Reporter about his true passion: "Theater. That's where I started. Actually, it was a practical thing: I started acting in college, not because I wanted to act in movies but because I was looking for something to major in. I'd tried everything else and found I had some ability as a performer. The first play I ever did was a musical and I found out I couldn't sing, and then I did Eugene O'Neill's Emperor Jones, and the second drama I ever did was Othello.
