Bruno Mars Accused of Blowing Off Concert, Sued For $1 Million

A promoter is suing Bruno Mars for $1 million, claiming the singer blew off a concert in Springfield, Missouri, in October of 2017. According to court documents reviewed by the Blast, booking company Major Entertainment is suing both Mars and publicist Michelle Reece over the no-show, claiming they had signed a deal in July of that same year. Bruno, who was in the middle of his 24K Magic World Tour, told the company he would not be able to make the show shortly before the date. The company claims by that time they had already paid Reece over $77,800 in wire transfers, and had spent money for ticket sales, rehearsals, the venue, advertising, security, transportation, hotel rooms, dressing rooms and food. <br />
