Bebe Rexha’s Ex-Producer Sentenced to Prison for Illegally Using Her Credit Card
Music producer Devine Evans was sentenced to two years in prison Monday after he pled guilty to one count of aggravated theft for racking up thousands of dollars on singer Bebe Rexha’s credit card, TMZ reports. Devine apparently charged $37,000 to Rexha’s American Express card over the course of nearly a year, and was only caught after the singer’s business manager flagged the suspicious transactions. Evans, whose real name is Anthony Wade Evans, used Rexha’s card and that of another unidentified victim to pay for air travel for at least 30 different people, including his daughter, wife and mother. He also used the cards to pay for parts of his own wedding, racking up over $100,000 in charges between both victims. Along with his sentence, Evans was ordered to pay $35,000 in restitution to American Express.
