“Bachelor” Winner Vanessa Grimaldi Says She Was Asked to Join “The Hills” RebootVanessa Grimaldi, who won the 21st season of The Bachelor, claims she was nearly a cast member on the upcoming reboot of The Hills. “I get a message from someone [about] a reality TV show that they would be interested in me being a part of the cast,” Grimaldi shared on Monday’s episode of the Pratt Cast podcast–which is co-hosted by Hills cast member Stephanie Pratt, a.k.a. Spencer’s sister. “I was ready to try something else other than a dating show. They said, ‘You know, we are rebooting The Hills,’ and I said, ‘Oh, interesting.'” She continued, “They said that they are looking for new faces for The Hills and asked if I was still living in L.A. and if I was single.” In the end, though, Grimaldi thinks she didn’t get the gig because she didn’t come off as super-interested. “They were like, ‘You’d be the single girl coming on the show,’ and I was like, ‘I don’t want to be the single girl coming on the show and starting s**t between people,'” she explained. The Hills: New Beginnings premieres June 24 on MTV.
