Amy Schumer’s ongoing pregnancy issues are leaving her with no choice but to cancel the rest of her comedy tour. The 37-year-old shared the news on Instagram Friday, explaining that her hyperemesis gravidarum (a form of acute morning sickness) has become so bad she simply can’t make the rest of her dates.
Here’s what she said: "Due to complications from hyperemesis I am not cleared to fly for the next couple of weeks I am going to cancel the remainder of my tour. Refunds are available at point of purchase. The baby and I are healthy and everything looks good. But I am in my 3rd trimester and I am still nauseous all the time and vomiting."
Giving fans a full picture of her ordeal, she continued: "I vomit mostly every time I ride in a car even for 5 minutes. I have a pretty good attitude about it and some days I feel good for a couple hours. But mostly it’s sucks sic. I wanted to push through and do my shows. Because I hate letting people down and I love stand up and money! But more than that I have to think about my health and the baby."
She announced that she and husband Chris Fischer were expecting their first child in October. Since then, she’s had to cancel a string of dates due to hyperemesis.
