After Lori Loughlin’s Fall From Grace, Who’s the New Queen of Hallmark Holiday Movies?
Now that Lori Loughlin has been rebranded the Scrooge of college admissions, which actress can lay claim to her old title as the queen of Hallmark Christmas movies? The New York Post claims it’s a tight race between Candace Cameron Bure and Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert, who have both starred in eight of the network’s feel-good flicks. The outlet adds that diehard Hallmark fans tend to give Chabert the nod. “She’s just one of the most generous, caring people you’ve ever met, and on an acting level, she’s fantastic,” says Christina Figliolia, who helped organize this year’s Christmas Con in Edison, New Jersey–which Chabet attended. Another fans calls Chabert “my Hallmark baseline. She comes across so sweet and naive as a person, I could never hate a movie she’s leading.”
