2019 American Music Awards: Performers

Just before receiving her Artist of the Decade Award on Sunday, Taylor Swift delivered the hottest performance of the AMAs, a medley of her hits past and present. The highly-anticipated performance did not disappoint fans, and included a little help from Camilla Cabello, Halsey and ballerina Misty Copeland. Swift’s medley started with “The Man,” then moved through “Love Story,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “Blank Space”, before finishing with “Shake It Off” and “Lover.” Meanwhile, real-life couple Shawn Mendes and Cabello stormed the AMAs stage with a steamy, PDA-fueled performance of their hit song ‘Señorita.” Cabello and Mendes embraced and even teased a full-on makeout session, which got the audience squealing in anticipation. Lizzo also took the stage again this year with an epic performance of her track “Jerome,” belting out the soulful breakup song dressed in a stunning, rose-colored ruffled dress. For her first AMAs performance in 16 years, Shania Twain closed the show with a medley of her greatest hits mixed with lines from Twenty One Pilots, Drake and Swift, before transitioning into a colorful, over-the-top performance of “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” Other notable performances on the night included Christina Aguilera with Great Big World, Green Day, Halsey, the Jonas Brothers via satellite from Boston, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, and Dua Lipa.<br />
